 TASK 2 - Revisit and review your chosen brief...
  • What brief did you choose?
  • What are the minimum requirements for your chosen production?
  • What is the target audience as prescribed in the brief?
  • What is your target audience for the product you're creating? (this needs to link to the audience profiling post).
1. i chose brief 1

2. the minimum requirements for my brief are 5 original images, a front cover, a title, price, barcode, 

3. 10-13 year olds

4.  teens mainly female

TASK 3 - Write an introduction to the task.  This needs to explain what you're going do... in this case it needs to be along the lines of:

In this task I'll explore different types of images, fonts and colours to use in my magazine I shall be looking at different connotations and how these affect the way my target audience might view my product.  By creating this mood board I will also be exploring creative ways of how to present my work.

TASK 4 - Create a series of mood boards that give an indication of the types of images (may include photos and/or illustrations), overall colour scheme, types of fonts and colours you are considering using in your production.



TASK 5 - When you finish the mood boards you need analyse them answering the following questions:

  • How did they help you define content for your product?
  • What will be your overall colour scheme of your production?
  • What kind of images/shots would you use in your production?
  • What kind of fonts would you use in your production?
  • What kind of mise-en-scene would you use in your production?
  • What kind of intertextuality would you use in your production?
  • Which media theory(ies) are you likely to use in your production?

1. they helped me define my content for my product by giving me ideas for what animals i can put in my magazine

2. the overall colour scheme of my production will be mainly blue and a bit of green

3. i will use a lot of close up shots and occasional long shots for bigger animals

4. the fonts i will use  Brush Script MT Monotype Corsiva 

 5. the kind of mise en scene i will use in my magazine will be that all the animals will be littered around the magazine

 6. i will reference documentaries and the game splatoon as it has stuff to do with sea animals

Learning objectives K: The requirements for each of the briefs set by OCR. U: How to approach the chosen brief, including writing the statement of intent. BAT: Choose a brief and start planning what to write in the statement of intent. CO: Use media terminology (all areas of the theoretical framework) in your written and verbal communication. Task 3 i am choosing brief 1  i chose brief 1 because i read a lot of books, also the other options would probably conclude to be bad for me, this is because the other briefs involve more experience with technology such as filming 2 minutes of an opening scenes of a documentary or a music video and i don't know how to use a camera, also i have a great love for sea animals, which my magazine will be about _______________________________________________________ < _________________________________________________________________
